I voted for Bush twice, I think we ARE better off than if either of the alternatives would have won.

As far as this thread goes, it is a joke. We STILL make Lewinsky jokes and will for a long time.

Obama is not even in office yet and I think there is a new record for jokes before inauguration.

Couldnt agree more Matt, hell even the politicians make fun of themselves. GW laughs at the way he talks and Obama called himself a mutt. Drawing the line as to whats real and not is the difference, I voted, I did my due diligence, and now my responsibilty comes to protect my business and my family, I will do that wether the Government agrees with me or not....

Keeping my fingers crossed...so far he's been much more of a centrist than the extreme liberal he was made out to be. Hopefully he can keep the progressives in check...time will tell. What a mess we're in.

Bottom line... he is a politician, he said and did what he needed to get the american public to vote for him, now he will say and do what he needs to, to keep the other politicians and supporters(lobbiests) on the hill happy.

That is why I think there should be one 6 year term for the President. Every President spends the first 4 years getting re-elected and the next 4 years trying to finally get something done.
