Whoops. I left that out. 605 inch Fords. 8.9 to 1 compression. Single Holley Dominator carb. XR Sportmaster shorties and Hydromotive 5 blade props. Horsepower, um....reliable.:sifone: how's that?

Wow, quite sobering really. Tom's 1400 hp 39 runs the same speed as the old straight bottom with 2480 hp!!!! :ack2:

Don't know an answer to that one. Tom's boat is a 38TS. I do know that Bill Proctors staggered 38 (the Spider boat) runs 113-114 with 1200 Cobra engines.

It handled beautifully. On Rails!!

I did, those speeds were obtained when the boat had 1240's in it. It now has 800's and runs just shy of 90. That 112.1 gps reading happened late last year on the way back from the Cambridge races. It was either from sun spots or someone said that it may have been from running under a bridge at high speed...:sifone:
