The dog thread

Yup that's Dakota... I can tell as soon as I walk in the door if she's done something wrong. She'll come to the door, and just lay down right in front of me won't jump, speak or anything. Just look up at me with those big eyes. For the little lap dog she is (al 80lbs of her) she is great at jump on to tables, and counters. I left some stuff on top of the fridge, only to come home to find her stuck on top of it. She got on the counter jumped on the fridge, but then couldn't completely stand up so she couldn't get down. It was hard to be mad at her even with the broken platter sitting on the floor.

That's right the life of a spoiled dog...

Heck mine is sitting my bedroom (OK it's hers she just lets me sleep there) laying down on the bed watching animal planet...

If figure if I could be half as good a person as my dog thinks I am I'd be better than most people I know...

I once left JAKE at my parents. They left a big steak out to thaw on the counter. They walked out of the kitchen just a few minutes and it was gone !

At that point he knew the punishment was worth every bite! :D

He no longer stayed with my parents after that... ;(

Tim, that's funny! I had a Husky do the same thing. Had 2 buddies over for steaks, they were marinading in the kitchen. I went upstairs, came back down and said uh guys, where's the other steak? Went in the other room and the husky was chomping on it :banghead:

About a year before losing JAKE, we inherited a Westi from from wife's sister in law who passed away from cancer.

It was a so strange how this all happened.

The loss of her sister in law, we get Molly (the Westi) and then JAKE passes on a year later... Almost as if Molly was meant to fill the void we would have when JAKE was gone.

Crazy how things work out sometimes...

Pochie prints! I want a dog. fund, if you read this, I want a dog. Not the stuffed breed, the alive breed. Thanks for the pix people, I was Jonesen' for a poochie. Jann

When lil' Jann asked for a dog, he sweetly got me a stuffed bulldog. When we sold the stinger he then said "fence first'". I'm phucked!, now we have an apache to clean up after. How is it we have no dog? OH YEAH! I'm the family dog sitter. Two chi-chi's{Tinker & Fat-boy}, and Bailey the pit bull, who has unsuccessfully tried to eat the chi-chi's. Bailey likes to sit on John's lap. She thinks she's a lap dog. Perhaps I should sit on John's lap?

Tracy, this is a dog thread, so ,I love YOUR dog{who liked me too} and I love ya dawg. Now lets talk dawgs. HAhahahah. Does this mean I can come out of lurk mode? Besides, I have more boating pedigree than my honey,I lived on a 1949 40 ft CHRIS CRAFT all summer every summer . We had 2 cats that lived aboard, too.

Lets get back to dogs. Cinco is 1.5 and loves the water. We got her at 6 weeks and she was swimming in LOTO at 8 weeks old. She's on the boat with us almost every weekend between April and September.
