Hey everyone!
The BLACK DUCK CAFÉ has been scheduled to air on Diner’s, Drive In’s & Dives on Monday, May 25th @ 10 PM on the Food Network Channel. For those of you who are not too familiar with the show, each half-hour show covers 3 different establishments, so if you don't see The Black Duck Cafe featured right away, it will soon follow! !!!!!! Get the word out !!!! The show is aired nationally - exact time of show may differ within the different time zones .
Just to give some background, my father has owned the place since 1979 and raced a boat back in the early to mid 1980’s under the name Black Duck. During this time he won 2 World and 2 National Championships. The restaurant itself is an old refurbished ice barge originally built back around 1840 now located on the Saugatuck River in Westport, CT. The place is covered with pictures of offshore boats, both new and old.
