Found a local guy to service my injectors, Paul(TZrider) at Razors Edge motorsports in Pompano has the equipment to service(clean and flow) Outboard injectors. He did mine over the weekend. I was having a problem with sluggish bottom end, and everybody here suggested getting the injectors serviced, I didnt want the boat down for any length of time, so I did a search locally, and came up with Razors Edge. I havent water tested the boat yet, but will keep everyone up to date.

It really doesn't matter where or when it gets posted :) Did he do a pulsed flow test too or just a standard flow test? Reason I ask is I had a guy in PA do mine and found a huge problem under a pulse test. They were slow opening so when they pulsed they flowed about 30% less fuel, burned exhaust valves because of it. Regular flow and pattern looked great BTW.

Why did you put it on OSO then put it on here ???????

I use all forums, dont really pay attention to which one I go to first. In fact it was probably on Scream and Fly first, then Donzi.net, then OSO, then here, but that doesnt make any one of them more important to me than the other:cheers2:

I am not really sure, he has a really cool machine, they seemed to be pulsing when I was watching him do the last 2, but thats why he is the mechanic, and I am the paint and glass man:sifone:

Also paul does some really cool work on cars. He had a lightning pickup in for a motor job, and the last 2 times I was around he had a Supercharged Mustang in for a motor job, and a newer stag getting a roushcharger. He is also affiliated with a custom bike shop that has some neat stuff they are always working on. www.razorsedgemotorsports.com

The injectors were first flow checked then cleaned in a heated ultrasonic bath with the injector charged ( open ). They were then completely rebuilt ( new basket filters, o-rings, seals and printle caps ) then put back in the machine and flowed at varying pressures, they are run through a full rpm range as well as pulse widths from less than 1ms to static. The injectors are also put through a peak and hold as well as a leak test..
