The 10 Meter "8" Model 3 1/2 years newer in design and construction. While I was building this boat the Cheetahcat 12 the 40 my first Inboard was being designed and drawn.
There are so many different design ideas in that boat someday I hope to discuss them in person.

Artie how are you doing? The "8" I did in 95 as the UIM rules had been changed after the 94 WC for some reason ,which forced me to build the 10 Meter Cats as my 11 meter stuff could not run "S" anymore. Talking 6 Liter here.

Steve , great....... and you ? Steve the reason for the post was truly because of design considering that both boats looked very similar with the exception of the length of the hull / hull / and pickles .

How can you put inboards in that deck?? there is NO room it is so tight that there are inspection panels to work through.

Steve the 40 that was done at Skater had much more freeboard aft and was designed to fit IO's & in fact the boat was going to have number#6 drives . Steve , the boat that was done at Skater was very simililar as far as looks go with the design of the deck but with more freeboard .Artie inboards will not fit here.

Artie I drew that boat in 1994 built it in 1995 and I did NOT copy a 40 Skater!!

Artie when someone has one of my cats there is Zero chance of a duplicate model ever pulling in next to him. The molded stuff different story. The Cheetahcat 12 I was doing the workup on was something that looked like it fell out of star wars,I came home then 9/11 and did not go back to build it and a seatek diesel modified cat for a Kuwaiti Sheik.
