Not sure sir :D, what are they? I know the Batboats run them all the way back. Artie brought up a good point to me in a PM that i mistakenly over looked. Step hulls have a very different strake araingment then straight bottom boats and often the strakes are full length. When i was looking at the one pic you posted i was just thinking about a 41 footer i just had in the shop thats got shorter strakes but its a flat bottom . . . . brain faded for a sec :D

Think this way every lift element on this boat is with the keel line and water flow all pluses!

Anyway I sent a Stepped EP Wing outboard race boat to Portugal in 92.

Steve , just curious what is the projected speed and dry weight of the hull and deck , mated , and might we be l@@king at an all composites boat built using epoxy , S & E glass , Kevlar , Carbon fiber , vacume bagged or infusion ?

Bag and Infusion Everything! Even the stringers were infused in ,around 2600 # projected was the target we had a pair of 1250 HP Cobras sitting there for it also

Steve i use to be heavily into NCRS Corvette restorations in fact I've done a least one of every body style from 54 up. Anyway i know this is off subject but i remember there was actually a Steve Koss in charge of much of GM's fiberglass fabrication back in the earliest years of the Vettes. Just some odd trivia for ya there

LMAO that is Funny and Thank you!

When i was doing a 54 we referenced his stuff

sorry for the slight hyjack . . . . back to the boat :D

Thanks man, this thread is tremendously informative. Its a view few get to see.

Following this thread with awe. Thank you. One thing I can't figure out from some of your posts on other threads and from your website, that you can build a boat without molds. How is that possible? I will understand if you don't want to share your secrets in public, but the concept is intriquing to me. Can you share a little of the technology without giving away too much?
