How is your trucking doing? Did they get it all fixed? I think I may looked a the 2011 trucks for Christmas of something. Kind of hard to want to buy a new one when I have to keep driving down the damn old dirt road to work and tear another truck up. May buy a new one for my weekends activities and get a beater for working in.

WOW, wheres everyone at?????

I got in touch with the 465 engine guy and he had no problem with paying for the pistons and rings for me. So that helped $1500.00 back in the pocket.

Glad to hear KC. I hadnt heard from you for awhile so i was nervous you had moved to china and opened up an opium shop again:sifone:

I bought myself a 13ft bost whaler for $500. Even came with a 35hp evinrude. I thought it would be a good project to learn how to do fiberglass repairs. Any fiberglass experts here? I could use all the help I can get. Not sure if I'm going about it the right way or not.

Get out the sander and see what you have. The cracks look to be on the paint only. Get it down to something bare and see what you have.

Glad you decided to join us. If you spend as much time in this BS thread as you do the OSO Politics area, we will be to 1000 replies in no time.

LOL,

The cracks are all in the paint. I've started sanding. I'm just taking a dremel tool and sanding/grinding the gelcoat cracks until I hit fiberglass or wood. Only real fiberglass damage is in the bow guard rail area. For the major areas I'll sand it all off.
