As the prop turns .....

Oh yea, I got to see some mexicans get deported today, one resisted and got to meet INS's cute lil German shepard. Lol.

What did you guys buy to pull the motors? The guy that helps me has one out of like 10" I beam and big 6" square tube. This thing is huge. One day I will build myself one.

Well the chinese tools didnt drop anything on us. One engine in the floor. Sure makes it nice to clean everything back up.

You know its cold when a bag of ice keeps all weekend on the shop floor. PS, Academy has Patio Heaters that work great for $129.

Matt bought a beam and i believe 4in square tubing to make the frame. We had some guys come anchor it to the floor and weld it in place. 3 ton hoist and a 2 ton trolley. Works great.:seeya:

Endeav covered it. Our welding shop put it together for me. Amazing what you can get done when a facility manager needs a new engine for his daughters F-150.

I orginally built it for a different building with the plan of having 16' under the beam. You never know what sort of Tall Deck boat may need an engine pulled.

Dont get some bad karma going for me before one ever gets here......

That boat is going to be pretty nice when you guys get done. Is your trailer at Derebery (sp)? I see what you were talking about by being across the street, but is there a street between you and them? Does not look like it. More like right next door. :cheers2:

Not a problem my man. Just across the street is its NEW aluminum trailer. The dash panel and guages are ordered and should arrive this week. Gotta clean and paint the bilge and get its motors back in. Which reminds me, I gotta find out when the other motor will be here...

Matt, what did you paint your bigle with when you re did it?

Originally I did it with two part epoxy from Sherwin Williams. That looked really nice, and was very durable. I actually let the fiberglass guy paint it last time after he did the structural work. I believe he used Gel. I don't like and and am trying to talk my self in to a pretty thorough touch up job this winter. It depends on what happens on the other side of the shop.

Derebery is on the other side of Highport Road from us.
