Was Talon's "cabin" behind the cockpit, in front of the engine, and not in front of the cockpit like most boats?

yea, they had a mid/aft cabin that was pretty cool. Not sure if it still had a forward cabin though. Not much freeboard of these things. I've been up in the sponsons of Ed's boat many times an there aint much room.

I really didnt like the aft,I think if the cabin was up front and cockpit moved back it would have a long nose and look cooler, still cool looking boat.

The one I looked at cumberland had 575sc,claimed 125Mph

What's the story with this one from Double R? Does anyone have any first hand knowledge of how well it works? It's gotta crush some water but how fast is it?

I looked at the boat very closely (as in it was my top contendor for a new boat), have a TON of pics from RR that were sent to me and did a lot of research. Its a good buy, no doubt.. Just couldnt get insurance on triples in a 37' hull for a reasonable price.

If you are interested, a friend of mines Talon is for sale. It's called the Nina Ross and is a special Talon some how. I don't remember what was special about it but i believe it was cut down to a 36 and something else. Let me know if interested. Cool boat and it hauls the mail also.

I would just like to know how they perform. I am probably not in the market for one right this moment but am curious. Does anyone have any speed numbers on them?
