Taking the business full-time

I'm taking my part time business into full time status. The name is Equus Liquidators, Inc. We are auctioneers and liquidators licensed in 37 states (currently) and specialize in residential and commercial real estate, business inventory and marine industry liquidations. I have nearly 20 years experience in the marine and marina business.

My father has been doing this for over 40 years very successfully. Since I sold my dealerships I've been trying to figure out what to do when I grow up and I have seen his business explode (obviously) over the past few years. But he's getting ready to retire and it doesnt make sense to lose all those contacts, etc. Auctions are the fastest way to liquidate any property and provide you with a REAL value. open bidding among qualified buyers is the only way of determining value.

I will post the website info within a couple days. We currently have over $15,000,000 worth of property scheduled for auction within the next 90 days. I'm also working with some banks etc on liquidating a couple defunct boat dealerships.

I'll keep you guys posted as there are some great deals to be had out there.

Thanks for your support! :cheers2:

Still waiting for those piks for the logo idea, I can place them ghosted behind the name, like the horse on the one I made earlier, let me know what else you want on it.

I can't find any I like. I'm looking for more of an artwork look rather than a photo. Here come a few samples. Thanks

Good luck in your new ventures, sounds like a viable opportunity given your familys experience and guidance behind you and your familiarity with the markets.. BEst of luck.

need any help...i'm looking for a change of direction...

Actually, yes. There is a ton of money to be made finding auctions for me. I'll pay a healthy percentage. Homes, business inventory, boats, estate sales, gun collections, waterfront property and marine industry sales (my specialty) etc etc. etc

I know Bill is taking over the reigns from his father. But the good luck wishes still stands :cheers2:

Not really taking over his business. I could never work in his business growing up but we've figured out a way for each of us to benefit from each others skills.

Good luck in with the new venture. It will be nice to have "one of us" in the marine side of things. Hopefully some deals can be had my SOS members! Congratz and best wishes!
