Take off the bow rail?

I don't think it looks bad at all, and I bet you use it more than you realize. I took them off my old boat for the look, but kinda missed them for hanging fenders, tying up, and keeping my ass from sliding off the bow.

I guess you wouldn't have a problem with the last one with the fishing boat though. :D

We are talking about the Center Console in the pic right?? or is there a go-fast somewhere that making bowrail changes will actually affect "sleekness"

KIDDING..... Sort of

to be honest, i love center consols, so little maintance, so easy to clean, etc... one i get this go fast, deap crackling sound addiction out of my system, youll see me in one!
It's behind the center console where those red necks are standing around it!:sifone:. Really though, you have a great boat there, I'd keep the rails, and I like the wake board speaker idea - but I'd point two aft and two fore.:)

taking the rail of a 42 fountain right now...and for the holes and re-sale reasons, I am using quick pin cleats in a couple of the holes (for fender and spring line/short docks) and using canopy gromets for the other holes (like what skater, mti, and fountain use to put the windscreen inthe canopy..) only sits about 3/8 of an inch off the deck and can have them done in white....not 100% how i want it..but is more cost effective, it gives me the chance to put the rail back on if i miss it, and if the next guy wants the rail it is available to do also...just mu 02...

the only problem i am having is i cant find anywhere to buy the gromets, i have called mti, and OL they are low on stock and min. order is 100 pieces (at 8 bucks each i can have them filled for that) anybodyu have any suggestions on where I can get them...I called skater, but waiting for chris to get back in the office..

Keep it. If it wasn't white I might think otherwise but it actually looks really good with it. Without the rail the boat actually looks cheaper.

I initially didn't like the rail on my Donzi but it has grown on me. It's also very well placed for many things. Holding the boat at the dock, hanging fenders, hanging onto when on the bow, hanging onto while cleaning, etc.

Keep the rail. Think of it as a horizontal stripper pole.

Mind over matter.

I like it on your boat. It completes it somehow...it would look naked without it in my opinion.

Not to mention, it's probably beneficial for deck stiffness.

Are you saying that MM has a problem keeping his deck stiff.....:leaving:

What I want to know is, ........ RV....RESORT?

Same as trailer trash but a person can't live there. Deeded property but no permanet structures, etc. (If you were serious about asking that is).

I like the wake board speaker idea - but I'd point two aft and two fore.:)

I thought about that but with 2 amps, 4 tweets, 4 mids and 2 subs so she's pretty loud already.

Post pics of your progress? Curious how it turns out. I have some super duty cleats on my boat- no quick pins but pop ups. Much sturdier than needed and foot long backing plate on them- could be used at lifting hooks!

I'm going to leave mine alone. A whopping 5 hours on her last year; don't remember if I used the rail a lot or not, didn't think I did but can't really remember. Sounds like it is better left alone.

Thanks for the input!

#1- cleat
#2- amps
#3- mid w/sep tweeters in front, then sub and then seps past rod holders as well
