Svl

Update: Randy's drive went on Bruces boat and Randy run it like he stole it. Randy's cell went in Steve's boat and Bruce sponsored the Black boat. The Vortex sputtered and surrendered early soon after Bruce and Randy pulled it to the lead. Imco ran with the Under Destruction for a couple of laps but, were unable to keep up the pace. So congratulations to the Mad Dog and Bruce in Progressive for holding off the girl.

And big thumbs up to Mark and Jenni for beating us again.

And i had to eat all the cheese cake myself since non of u wanted to have a piece !!!

So again SVL racers are only talkers. LOL:sifone:

It was great to seeing u all .

More on Sundays race. After consulting with my girl. Bruce and Randy came around the beach and start finish line 1st with Vortec challenging. IMCO was 18 seconds back. Under Destruction had a problem getting on plane at the starting line up with their Will Ross borrowed prop. IMCO had the inside at turn one with Bruce on our right. By turn two Bruce and the Vortec had pulled notably ahead of us. On the second or third lap not sure Under Destruction pulled up and attempted to move past us. We ran a couple laps dueling it out until a hard hit injured my throttle man George. I never saw that Vortex pulled off. By the second lap I was told he had fallen 18 seconds behind Bruce and pulled off shortly after. When I suggested to George that we stop, I could see and hear his pain, he refused and toughed it out until the end. The boat was running well enough to have made a great race with the Dunbars until the end.

Both Bruce and our selves came out a hundred pounds heavy. Bruce ran a 29, Dunbars ran a 29, we ran a 28 6 blade. The boats were running low 80's in what I would call 1's and 2's. Which were coming from the west. Turn one was the sloppiest as we would turn the 3 pins we would get thrown in the air as we momentarily were in a following sea. As we ran toward the beach to turn two we negotiated an following quartering chop. It was great water to race in. Just rough enough to shake it up.

It was Bruce and Randys day again congrats. As of now it appears the three of us plus Randy in his own boat will run again in St Clair in 4 weeks.

Here is a pic Jayboat shared in the On location Sarasota thread. It appears to be turn one. You can see IMCO on the right, Ryans cat Superior Asphalt in center Bruces Progressive to the left. It must be TnT's wake in the fore ground. The Stock{ Cat outboards } and SVL's were the first start first race. Followed by the Production 3,4, and 5 classes in the second start.

Question for the rest of us......

There are three races in a row up here, (as I understand it). Harrison, St Clair, and Michigan City. They are all within a 3 hour drive, are you guys planning on being at all three once you get your boats up here?

Us lake boaters had agood time. Thanks again Bruce. It took us a couple of laps to get spooled up. Heal up george. We took a couple of good hits to. I screamed Jenni screamed. Thought we going to barrel roll once. We learned alot. I was told St Clair is fast.

For those not familiar. Under Destruction leads the national points and Typhoon and IMCO are tied 14 points behind.

We are still gunning for the 104. It should be good. I suspect at some point it may get physical.:boxing_smiley:

We all know, all the fun is in SVL. Its a simple fomula eat, drink, and race.

The Maragritas were good!!!!!! Thanks Jim
