Cracks me up, how much easier it is to drive a cat than a vee. Can't wait to hear what he says after he goes through the first turn, if they are really competitive, 5 wide at 120!
I wonder if the 100 ft rule for rookies applies in RWO ?
Yes a cat steers easier than a vee in that you don't have to drive out the chine .but it is unforgiving in oversteer .
Only way to explain is to experiamce it at high speeds crossing multiple lanes in race conditions.
So anyway OPA did a GREAT job this year.
they provided a full season of great events ,giving the spec classes a full race schedule.
How do the Spec classes repay ????
I wonder if smitty will be quite as eager to repeat it next season
I notice I am not able to start new threads on this site .
Hopefully its my ignorance .
Any ill post it here then .
RWO keywest looks like 30 boats .That's what is registered.
All spec boats I hope.
I like the weekend raceboats ,as well as you all do .
but for tv and magazine promo ( not the internet pelosis )I think we need to separate the Spec classes from the 1-7or 8 p classes
Again I love watching p-5 guys go at it .closest thing to SVL ..
Did you read that story about why the two stock cats blew over ?
the cause it seems is because they were side by side ,Yea that's a first LOL
If youre goin over in key west that's the right spot .
Every year theres a new cat throttleman that learns his lesson there.
RWO has some learnin to do
