Sunsation 288 XRT 001 w/525 on order!!!

That is right! Mahopac Marine is proud to announce that we will have a new member to the Sunsation Family. We have just received an order on a 2009 Sunsation XRT 288 with a 525 EFI Bravo XR package. :D

This will be a one of a kind XRT. I will keep you all posted on the details and options in this unbelievable boat! :coolgleamA:

Stay tuned!

Will be keeping an eye out for the finished product on this one, my old man was running his mouth last night about a bigger boat. :sifone:

Glad to hear you guys are moving boats!

Congrats!

Any chance of it being there for May 2nd ?

If not, how about the NPBA NY Hudson River Poker Run ?

coool! anybody ever build one with some big power? seems like the 288 would be a killer ride with 700 nxt!

It would be a real tight fit with a 700/NXT combo. I'm thinking some big alternative power maybe. Teague, Ilmor???????? Who know's what we do next:sifone:

We would love to deliver it there! That would be the plan, we have to see what the schedule is at the factory. They have a few to build which is a good thing after these shows.

We are very excited about this build. The 288 XRT should be a fun boat especially with a 525 HP! Keep up the good work Mahopac!

We'll post pics throughout the build process!

I don't know if the factory would go that big for liability reason, at least I think I was told that. Now a Zul 700 with a Imco SC drive seems like a good option to me:26:

We have a MCOB with a 525 and he is running right around 80 give or take water conditions. We are thinking this one may squeak out an extra mile or two due to the fact it is a closed bow.
We will keep you updated!
