straight jackets passing

Never met the man, but after reading some of his posts and the comments here, I am sorry I didn't have the opportunity. Godspeed Brian, you and yours are in my prayers..

Never met him, but it always hurts when we lose someone from the boating "family".
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. So sorry to hear this.

Brian Sr., I don't know what to say. We have been friends for more then 20years and you and Brian Jr have been nothing but the best friends a person could have. Always willing to lend a hand or give up some of your knowledge. We have had some great times together.

Brian Jr was a great guy and will be missed by all that knew him.
Love you both. Let me know if there is anything we can do

I am so sorry to hear of your sons passing.

It took me 5 minutes sitting here teary eyed and dumbfounded to digest the title of this thread. What was just another day in my life is the same day yours was changed forever.

Even only "knowing" each other online and not even really ever poking fun at each other (rare for either of us..), your sons passing is weighing heavy on me. Trust me saying "RIP" to your boy hurts inside.

RIP Straight Jacket :(

Thanks everyone for the thoughts. There are some tough days ahead. My mom called and in her attempts at consolation, she said "he is at peace." My response was in the affirmative...only for Brian, "peace" probably took a different form than most would expect. My guess is, rather than sipping a cocktail on a beach with a chesty babe like most of us would consider peaceful, Brian is topping 180 in the flat-black Skater that was always his "lotto-winner" dream...and he is very happy.
