What better way to remember him than by enjoying a little bit of his sense of humor?

Chris...so many times you have said just the right thing, be it regarding politics, offshore boating, or life in general...you nailed it again on this one.

Brian's proudest moments were when he could fly the flag of irreverance at the top of the mast. He's the only guy I've ever been happy AND afraid to introduce to my mom!

i met him in Michigan City, as we were racing there. I am so sorry for your loss. I too have lost a son, and i know the pain. Please believe the Stancombe family is praying for your family in these tough times.
look to God for support, though it might not feel like it, he is right there with you.

Brian Sr., I was astonished when I got the email from Mike S today and want you to know that my family has you in their heart and prayers. Brian Jr. was a good friend and always the first to volunteer his help and knowledge whether he knew you or not!!!! Matter of fact, this is how he has met several of us, helping us out whether it be a boat, bike, directions, launch, etc. I just talked to him last week to thank him for helping my neighbor pull his boat out of Lake Michigan and store it for the winter, that is what kind of guy he was. The good news is we all have wonderful memories of Brian that I know we will cherish forever and hopefully some of these qualities will make us all better!!!! Wow, all I can really appreciate at this moment is he lived life as fast as it would take him, or should I say as fast as he could Drive it from race cars, to motorcycles, to boats, you will be missed my friend!!!! Hammer

This is SO sad to read:( I got to meet Brain Jr. a couple of times, and he was a great guy:USA:

My heart goes out to his family and the entire Chi-town crew:angelsad2::angelsad2::angelsad2:

This is the first thing I thought of when I read the post. He seemed like a really cool dude when we came to Chicago for the poker run.
So sorry for your loss.
RIP
Michael

That was my first thought too.

How on Earth did this happen??

He was really nice to all of us when we did Chicago.

This is terrible. I am SO sorry for your loss, and will absolutely have you & the rest of his family & friends in my thoughts. :(
