I was up in Eastpointe today, wanted to check out the lake but forgot and just went home instead.

I know from poking around down here, AP is still iced in, but Bolles is open out to the lake. From what I could tell the Maumee is wide open, out to the lake at least.

-----I live on the river and yesterday most of the river was covered. This morning when I got up there is still ice but a lot less. That doesnt mean there wont be a bunch more tomorrow. A bit foolhardy at this point as some big chunks can be right under the surface. One of the wifes girlfriends lives on Harsens and had a problem getting to the mainland yesterday.........Bill S
