Speakers

first check with friends.... I was getting ready to buy speakers 2 years ago, a friend had some infinity's laying around, cost me an 18 pak of beer, and they are some of the best speakers I have heard. Bass response is excellent too...

If I have any friends here please PM me. LOL

My brother in law actually offered me some really good speakers but they are car speakers. On little Donzi's that is a 6 month plan max because they are so exposed.

If they are coated or plastic cones and rubber surrounds they would hold up fine for quite a while.

I think I'm going to go for the Momo Polk's. I can buy a pair now and see how they sound and fill the holes in the boat. Later I'll add another pair, amp, and sub. At least for the time being I'll be able to hear tunes while I work on the boat on the trailer.

Installed 5 pair of BOSS marine speakers and one sub-tube unit on a friends 30 CC. Sound great compared to the previous Jensens and bottom line Sonys, price was about the same or less online, maybe ebay. Can easily hear clearly running at 70 with the OBs. Bass is punchy too even enclosed in the console.

These were bought to be disposable, now we hope they last a couple seasons. Hooked up to a nothing special head unit and a above average amp.

I would do these again for a cheap and dirty music.
