Is south fox privatly owned ? or state land ?
We were on n. Manitou a few weeks ago, huge water, everyone getting sick and this was on the ferry going back to Leland !!!!!!!

Ed, I am 2 understand most of SF is owned by Dave Johnson, the developer of Bay Harbor. Has a landing strip , horses etc out there! But, the south west area is state!! I have been out there & as soon as I pulled up 2 the beach , a small boat w/ 3 dudes pull up about 1/8 of a mile north of me & stayed there 4 hours watching us!! No doubt in my mind it was muscle & if we step'd on his land I am sure we would have been ASK'D 2 leave!!!!

Dave Johnson from Bay Harbor owns most of the Island, there is still State land there, the group that went out on Sunday had to Deer tags they get to use on the Island next month.

Dude, this little spot is about 25-30 miles straight west out of Charlevoix & it makes U feel like U R in the Bahamas or something, so very cool!!!:sifone:

sounds like a great spot I need to make it up that way next summer, hopefully some of the BIO crew with be in aswell
