South FL get together memorial day weekend?

Anyone wanna plan a meet somewhere in south FL Memorial day weekend? Somewhere between say Peanut Island and Islamorada, probably a short run with a raftup, due to fuel prices this yearuke: I am open to places/ days 5- 28/29/30, but I am definitely getting the boat wet one of those days if anyone wants to join in

Not running the distance, just open to anywhere in the area. I agree it can get busy, that is why I said a short run with a raftup, I got my normal lauch/anchor spots, it will be in one of them, and those area's I am very familiar with, along with the locals being familiar with the crazy guy in the purple boat Right now it is looking like Lake Boca on Sunday :_boobies:with some speed runs either up in the wide part of the ICW by Boynton inlet, or outside the inlet weather permitting.

Sounds like we may do something similar to the New Years run we do, but actually be able to raft in Boca, hopefully the weather will be better than new years. We could either do lunch somewhere with a raftup after, or barbecue. Looks like Ray will be there with the cat, he has a grill, but may need another or 2 if we barbecue. My thought was to meet inside Boynton inlet, the big boats can run the outside(I fit somewhere in the middle, and the outside run for me would be dependant on water conditions) and get the raftup started, the little boats can run down the inside, and tie up to the big boats since they will be arriving a bit later. I should have a crew with smaller outboard boats coming also from screamandfly.

Boats all cleaned up and ready to go, I know it is not for 2 weeks, but next weekend we will be out of town up in Cocoa racing:cheers2:

We'll be there. New carb going on boat today. Bringing the grill and some extra dogs and brats but feel free to bring your own. Don't know how many people will show up and wouldn't want to run out of food.
Will be in the water about 9:30 with Rick and his Pantera. Will run up to Boynton and then back to Lake Boca to anchor up. I can be the main anchor boat.
