Just bought the 550 the other day and really like it. Has a lot more audio outputs and features over the 350.

Steaming, Yes. Download to a hard drive? No! Wireless connectivity? No!

My DirecTV HD DVR allows me download programs (both HD and non-HD) to its hard drive for later viewing. I can even get on the internet (from anywhere) and instruct the DVR to download a program. It will be ready for viewing when I get home!

Until a Blu-Ray player has a hard drive, I'm gonna keep my DVR!
