30+ years ago. This is her daughter taken a couple weeks ago at her parents. Her daughter is 21, and just home from being stationed at Guam for three years. I can see the resemblance.
Come out and try it sometime. I have seen numerous football players crawl off of the field before the first half is over never to try it again. I played both soccer and football and football was a breeze compared to playing a good soccer team.
It does suck as a spectator port if you don't play and see what is going on. I will give you that one. I still think poker is ore boring than curling.......:willy_nilly:

I play on an indoor adult coed league (6v6) and I’ll repeat what many have said….. If you think you’re in good shape, step onto an indoor field for 10 minutes.
I coached girls travel, parks and recs, and HS indoor leagues for many years. The game is very aggressive. I found it hard to tell a 14 year old on the sidelines to “shake it off” when she had just on the receiving end of an overly aggressive opposing player. As a coach and a role model it’s the right thing to do, but I’ve seen crap that makes me want to do the ponytail grab myself to those certain opponents.
If you’re somewhat a fan of the sport, get the dvd “Dare to Dream”. Watch it with your kids, it’s great documentary of the 5 women players that made history. My daughter and I have watched it twice. http://www.cduniverse.com/productinfo.asp?pid=7457673
Obiously you have never watched it. Let me show you some chicks that would beg to differ.
Take Laisa Andrioli for example. If you do a search you can find MUCH Better pictures of her but then the thread woud have to get moved over to UC. Or maybe Amy Taylor is more your speed? Mia Ham aint bad either I could go on and on.
Baseball is a thinking man's sport. Heve you ever heard Tim McCarver announce a game? He over does it with the possible scenarios.
Best description I've hear was from Bob Costas: He said the NFL is like a greyhound, all exciting, and that baseball was like a puppy, something you grow to love.
I played ice hockey and rugby most of my life. I understand physical exertion in sports. Your average rugby game, you'll run about 5 miles in the 80 minutes. Plus you get to stop and do a bit of power lifting and beat a few people up throughout the game. I have zero interest in soccer in any capacity beyond the fact that it's a good way to keep kids active and that there's a bunch of hot chicks playing... :sifone:
