Slip in Watkins Glen July 1-4?

We plan to trailer our 28' up to Watkins Glen for a long weekend over July 4th, and would prefer to keep it in a slip as opposed to lauching and retrieving each day. It looks liek the Village Marina is a good candidate for transient slips, but I cannot find a web site for them.

Does anyone have any other recommendations or connections?

Call Bob Ervay he used to own a marina on the canal in Watkins Glen or Bill Tauge he worked with the porker run up there, you can PM me for their numbers.

We kept our boat in front of the Glen Harbor Hotel, It's a really nice marina and so is the hotel.

I spoke with Terry at the Village Marina. $25/night for a slip if not staying onboard (we aren't). Heck of a deal. Turns out my company has us booked into the Harbor Hotel, so we're golden!

baja27 - Who did you talk to about the slips right in front of the hotel?

Call the hotel and they will give you the # for the marine. Nice place with a great bar!
