Siesta Key

Looking for an inexpenisve place to stay on Siesta Key. Having a hard time...but there sees to be great places (that we can actually afford) on Lido and Longboat Key. We're only there for a couple nights. so far the Hilton on Longboat and the Holiday Inn on Lido have been my choices.

Any suggestions/ tips?

If you can get a room at the Holiday Inn on Lido Beach grab it. That's the start/finish line and you won't have to fight traffic on race day. That's where race control and scoring will be.

Oh sorry....I assumed you meant for the races. They are 4th of July weekend.
On the other hand.......Longboat Key is VERY nice and the Hilton should be good.

wish we COULD make it down there for the races. My lack of planning sucks! We're shooting to hit the races in October hopefully!
