Should I be looking at playboy?

Looks nice but is that a re power?Don't think they made a 496 in 01.If you do get take Tres course or run with someone who knows stepped hulls. The Cig twin steps are very aggressive steps you need to trim them properly.Good luck.

Good question. The exowner is a member on the other site. May be able to get that question answered. But what if it is a repower. Is there a concern? Other than its not gunna hit 80 mph

The skeptic in me says that this particular boat falls into the "too good to be true" catagory. Spend the $$ and get a survey. If it comes back good, buy it and you have purchased a boat to basically use for free for a few years!!:)

This seems much more practical! Resale should be easier as well. It's a lot newer than the OL also, which the banks and insurance companies will prefer. Only thing is, this was a salt water boat, a survey is a must!

Have Raylar hop up those 496's to 525 or 600 HP for 13K per motor.....you could have the fastest 35 Playboy out there!

The other 01/02 Playboy with 500's in Tampa/St Pete has been 99K for YEARS. Boat was taken in on trade for 90K 3 years ago at Passport Marine. That is another one to look at and compare to this one.

So who's gonna get their butt over there to look at it for him so he knows whether to make an offer pending survey? One of you guys should have time in the next day or two.....

:seeya:Nice boat good price but your not stealing it as many Cig owners want you to believe:boxing_smiley:Get a survey if inspection is good still figure 5k for this&that!Good luck!

That is the cheapest cigarette, let alone playboy on the market by 20k. And it's in the price range of straight bottom guns. To me, it's a steal, even with that power.

Well i cant find any other T/S cigs for under 100 K. So it may not be a steal but seems like a very realistic price.

:iagree: That is a great price if it surveys out ok. If I had the $$$ I would be all over it for info.... What the heck ya wait'n for?:driving:

3. SOS Gladiator was less than 100K a couple months back.
