Shogren Adds Nor-Tech

Congratulations Shogren Performance! A great line of boats for a great dealership. Even in a slow boat market they are on fire selling boats. Lot's and lot's of boats. He believes in making a little on a lot of customers instead of some dealers trying to hit home runs on a few boats. That is why so many dealers are sitting on non current boats.

Don't surprize me. Shogren has a first class operation all the way through.

Congrats to Scott and the Shogren Team. :cheers2:

From what I've seen of their facility any mfg would be proud to have them represent their boat company. Congrats.

that is about the best match up you could have out there... One of the top 3 boating manufactures with a sales and support team that gets great reviews from their customers.... during and after the sale. Great Positive new's.. and congrats to both.

+1....

He may find it real hard to sell Fountains once the clientele sees a Nortech up close! 47 w/ 700's or a 43V w/700's should be a similar size but night and day difference in materials/cabin luxuries.

Thank you everyone. Keep posted for details on Shogren Certified Sales rolling out January 2010 and UsedOffshoreBoats.com rolling out February 2010.

Noticed you are not listed again this year for the Chicago Boat Show. Do you plan to have something instead at your new facility? Thinking of heading your way instead of attending the show if you are open.

I rafted up a few times to a 47 Fountain. Very close in size as in length.. but width and deck height was much larger on my NorTech. 6'4" of headroom vs about 5'9". Speeds and acceleration were also very close.. I was able to get up on plane quicker by about a boat length and speeds were within .6 mph.. 92.8 for the NorTech and 92.2 for the Fountain.. same speeds

both good boats, different clientle, a few coins difference.

Cool, I had been wondering who Shogren would pick up. They really seem to run a first class dealership, so that's a win/win for the two parties. Good luck to you both! :cheers2:
