Search ?

I just tried to search for a thread. I tried a few different ways. The thread is title Sushi Freaks?

I searched sushi freaks ...nothing

Tried thread title only in the bar keyword sushi.....nothing


I found it manually anyway

Also the banner ads under top tool bar appear over the search window. Just noticed not all banners apear over search window, but the Baja one does.

i see you found it but it brings up a good point. Is there something wrong with the search feature? Maybe a setting or something? No matter what i search i cant seem to get any results dated between about 11-29-08 and 3-21-09. Try searching something common like the word skater or cigarette and you'll see what i mean. There have been a few of these "missing" threads pop up from time to time and i also noticed it in my own searches.


yea, that banner popping over the search flyout is a pain to. The Skater one did it for me I just figured Pete had some extra pull

I don't know what it is on the search issue. Sometimes works fine, other times both issues occur.


But I don't like sushi.....

I will keep testing the search. Seems OK at first.

CP Performance banner appears over search drop down. I am sorry it seems nit picking, but when it hides the drop down you can't see what you are typing until you go advanced

still seems to omit any results dated between about 11-29-08 to 3-21-09. Try and search a semi-commonly used word like Stecz and see what comes up. I get two pages of results but it makes a big jump between those two dates. The feature works but wont access that time frame, atleast it wont on any of my PC's.

Yes, there are still some issues.
For instance, I searched for the word "poll" and entered cigdaze as poster.
Nothing came up in search, yet the word poll appears multiple times in this post of mine:

I rebuilt the "Search Index" which looks like it fixed some of the missing items from search. Can you give it another try to see if you get successful results.

I just made 12 test searches with previously null results. They all worked now. So whatever you did was a success.
