Seahawk - Magluta - Falcon -- Documentary on A & E's Biography

Thanks for posting that. I ended up watching the whole thing . About the 2:50 mark they show Jesse James beginning to stuff hard( left sponson) and cut away.
 
Watched it the other night and was mesmerized. Saw Magluta race the 38' Seahawk and come in second to Al Copeland in the Popeye's 50' Cougar back in the downriver area in early 80s. There's a couple grainy pics of it on this site. Toward the end of the program, they show what appears to be that race, certainly from that era, but the large black and gold Seahawk is racing alongside Copeland's Popeye's with that ever-present Popeye's helicopter above.
