Short version- he sexually abused his own niece, put her through the hell of a long trial- all the time professing his innocence, only to throw himself at the court's mercy when convicted, claiming post-traumatic stress from his job as a cop. And he got about a year in jail AND his full pension.

He deserves to die a long, painful death, then burn in hell.

It's not a problem that it came up- it's just that for the people that weren't there when it was going on, that don't know the details, the name and association could become something funny- outside of what he did of course.

For those of us around when it was going on- and especially for the people that he befriended and hung out with, it's a wound that won't ever be forgotten.
