Scotch recommendations

Doing some online research as well... This descrption is exactly why I drink bourbon! :sifone:

Old-fashioned sticking plaster, peat smoke and seaweed leap off the nose, followed by something a little sweeter and fruitier. Massive on the palate, with fish oil, salt and plankton, though the finish is surprisingly tight and increasingly drying. The biggest beast in the jungle, even if its roar has become more muted in recent years. ‘Love it or hate it,’ as one Laphroaig advert rather boldy put it, but you just can’t ignore it.

Sounds good to me!
:cheers2:

Yah I've been brushing up on my Scots are cheap gags for the party. :sifone:

Then you must know that a Scot invented the limbo?...................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

He was trying to get into a pay toilet. :)

No Really I drink all kinds of Whiskey..I´m not that picky as it works a helluvalot better than any drug... and reminds afterwards especially If I´ve run outta money and get the hangover...

There are three basic non blended. highlands, lowlands, and islay. The other kind is blended (Johnie red/black for example)

highlands is the safe bet for non blended.

Islay has a strong peat moss taste from the water where it comes from...

I brought ripple?! Must have really thought you were classy, normally I bring MD20/20!

Well, I was wearing my Sunday wife-beater, and you did come visit me at the double-wide, I can see why you thought you were among near royalty.
Truth is, I'm common folk just like you, the M/D would have been fine with the twinkies we had as an appetizer for the grilled spam cutlets.
