Scarab owners check in...

425 hp 454's, They are the original motors, but they came with the crane cams and holley carbs. Found this boat in an estate sale, some guy barely ever used it, but took very good care of it.55092_1653223895004_1369235780_31660793_484175_o.jpg46170_118939554825575_100001285932375_115506_6625689_n(1).jpg
Wow, another beautiful boat......

Triple What?

And welcome....

This will be my seventh summer with mine, I bought it in Michigan, belonged to one of the guys who started Amway, it had 150 hrs. on it at the time, mine has the 540 Bull Dogs, they are currently going through a rebuild, tuff when you have to buy three of everything, the only thing I don't like about it, is getting off the back, that slope off the back you will bust your a**, I know, I cracked three ribs last year, thank god I had some friends there to pull me out.

How does it perform in comparison?

Two different worlds! The Cig was . . . .well, a Cig.

The Scarab is lighter, slower and easier to take care of, easier to take out solo, cheaper to own, and has a bad azz stereo. It does surprisingly well in the chop and is a solid boat.

I keep waiting for a test with two or three of the 550 horse seven outboards.@
