Now its getting interesting. The grammar in the previous message definitely doesn't fit, but with looks like that why would she need a degree

Anyone who's ever delved into the online dating thing, cat attest to the fact that an emailed picture is about worthless. Tread with caution. She does purport to be pretty phucking hot, though. :reddevil:

LMAO. Look at "that guy" in the red shirt. She relatively hot, tell her that no cheque is neccesary and you'll see her when she arrives from across the pond. ;) :D:sifone:

Thats what I was thinking, she could have grabbed that picture anywhere online. I am going to ask the registrars office tomorrow. Hopefully they will give me a straight answer.

OMG... look at her hair! it's Josh's long lost sister!!!!!!!!!!!!!:eek::eek:

looks like the kid next to her has an autograph book in his hand waiting for whoever she is to sign it.....and he looks American (as does she)

If this looks legit, tell her you need a scan of her passport photo page and a copy of her student visa. She has both- or she doesn't need an apartment. I would politely explain the various international check scams and that it's nothing personal.

So I went to campus today and spoke to the people in the registrars office. They said they could not tell me if they were registered students at the university due to the privacy act. I went over to the international students office and sweet talked the lady working there for a while. She finally told me there were no "exchange" students from Liverpool (a girl from Colombia also emailed me, none from there either). She said she does not have the list of "international students" though, which means they could still be students. I was told to email them and ask for a scanned copy of their acceptance letter and for them to correspond from this point foreword with their UoG email account.
