See Ya!

I live here in Sarasota if that helps. Shoot me a PM & I will do whatever I can to help ya if you're looking for something in particular, but looks like you've got all the details. However, to mention a couple spots on "THE places to be" that are NOT listed, are still within blocks of the main going ons. Gators is a 2-story fun night club in the dwntwn area. Mattison's is dead across the street from Gators. This is one my "personal" favs to eat (being a local) with a GREAT live band usually. All outside though, so it can get a little warm & humid in the summer months.

Thanks PicChic. I haven't been down there in over two years (and I'm only an hour away), so any info is appreciated. Is Jack's Marina still a good place to keep a boat? Anything closer? I assume that the Hyatt/Boathouse is still the place to be before and after races...?
Lido Beach Holiday Inn is the Best place to Watch?

Marina Jack's will definitely work if need be but YES the Hyatt IS the place to be if you can. BOOK EARLY though!! 8-) I will do some checking further for you & see what else I can come with. If you need trailer storage, I can probably work out something there for you if needed or anyone else for that matter, so let me know.

Nick,

It looks like I will be down again this year as well it has been four years four years since I have been! Melissa has to be back in town for work from 6/30 till 7/18 so I am going to go down and then come back on the 7th! I will see you down there for sure.
If you need to keep the boat at Marina Jacks let me know I can see if there is any space on my Uncles dock!

I'm sure Scott at Suncoast boat sales could accomodate a few boats.

I have a party planed on the 4th on Anclote island, (see thread upcoming) I don't know if I get to the races, but I will do the Poker Run on the 27th.

Hey Mike, Very cool.

I plan on watching from the Hotel. I got a balcony room just for that. You know the weather this time of year. I may bring to boat down, though, but that's undecided. We may run it down and keep it at marina Jack to do some running around on Saturday.

Thanks PicChic.

Lido Beach Holiday Inn is the Best place to Watch?

Not that it matters, but FYI, It's called the Radisson Beach Resort now. That's where I will be watching the races & photographing from :cheers2:. A friend of mine has a balcony suite for the wknd. :D
