To carry that a step further, I'm not a member of the "Party of Family Values". And I don't like that the Conservative side of the aisle ever became that. I always thought it was a way of pre-packaging an ideology for those who didn't want to do the thinking for themselves.

An example- My own personal thinking is there's a significant degree of wrong between being in an alternative strip club and something like aborting babies.

Maybe I'm old and cantankerous, but I've grown weary of pandering politicians peppering everything they say with references to religion and guns. It makes us look like morons.
