Resin / West System question

I've got some West System 404 and 407 filler. will it work fine mixed with polyester resin for filling screw holes and gauge holes, or does it need to be mixed with Epoxy resin?

i already have some polyester resin but don't have any epoxy resin. trying to avoid going to the store again if i don't have to.

For screw holes I asked a TECH at AWLGRIP and he told me to use an marine epoxy paste filler because it was easier to work with and tacky...then you could just match the bilge up with AWLGRIP and paint over the filled up hole. The stuff does exist I just bought some and it comes in white.
