Repelling snakes...

Has anyone had any luck with any of the ultrasonic or earth vibration devices?

We've found the occasional snake in the fenced backyard around the pool and shed over the past few years. But yesterday, already early in the season, I killed a baby Copperhead.

We have a dog door, and connected outdoor pen for our small dogs now. We are now seriously concerned about what the rest of the summer is going to be like. We don't want the dogs to be affected my the snakes, nor do we want one showing up in the house.

Thanks in advance.

Go buy one of these. Name him Rikki-Tikki-Tavi.

Have a St. Patrick's day party?

Wait... You're going to need a rope, and something pretty tall for the snakes to repel off of. What's a repelling harness for a snake look like anyhow?

Thanks for the help guys. I know about the Snake Away products including powder and granules, and moth balls.

We have a pool in the yard, and woods behind the fenced in yard. These bring things close to the yard naturally like mice and frogs, which are like filet & tuna steaks for copperheads, unfortunately. I don't have many options for keeping them out of the woods and pool.

I am looking into investing in something like this:

...and wanted to know if anyone had seen or used anything similar.

Thanks again.

Go find like 20 king snakes,,,the mice/rats and the poisen snakes be gone and saty away as long as u keep the king snakes around !!!!!!!!!!!!
Any kind of king snake will do....black snakes, rat snakes, all the king snakes are imune against poisen snakes and eat them ....so even the big poisen snakes will sense them and saty away !!!!
