NEVER go up river of the highway overpass. It gets real shallow real quick. I am surprised that you didn't see rogers dam as far as you went.
I was planning on being there. Saturday morning I went out to hook up the boat and wash it. Tried to start the pick up and found out what has been causing the slow cranking of my 6.5 TD Chevy. ( replaced both batteries earlier this year) It finally started cranking normal speed and started but when I released the key it was obvious the starter was bad. Had to go to the scrap yard to get rid of the 600 LBS of metal in the back of the truck so after that I picked up a used starter ( $68 ) at the bone yard. Figured by the time the truck cooled off the day would be shot. Had to go to work soon after I got home. Sunday morning I removed the old starter and then found that I couldn't get the power studs loose on the new one. NAPA wants $264 for a rebuilt one. SOO Sunday is shot. Monday I will have the old one rebuilt for $100. Sorry I missed it. I want a new boat. Looking for a Cat 28 to 32 Ft.

Had a good time like always. Put quite a bit of time on the boat this weekend and everything ran great.
We did spot TwinWhackas and say hi. They were staying out of the raft up pile also....
