Raft-up Boat Brawl. Speechless.

I went to the zoo on a class trip in the 4th grade. I have a vivid recollection- a bunch of monkeys were beating off and throwing their $hit at each other. I've been to the zoo a couple of times since and what I have to assume are new monkeys (not really knowing the average lifespan of a monkey) were doing the same. I can only assume that this is typical monkey behavior, although I'll admit my exposure to monkeys is somewhat limited. So every time I see monkeys, I remember they beat off and throw $hit. I avoid monkeys for that very reason.

It took ten seconds of seeing the guys on the boat to know where this was going. I've seen more than just the monkeys in action...

As a person who has been in one to many fights (work and other) it's very easy to sit back and say what you should have or would have done while watching a video.

I Think things happened quick and the guys on "Summer House" just did not expect things to escalate as fast as they did. "Just caught off guard" as you say..

It seems like the limit is about 100 boats per fight. We have a largish raft up here once a year and as it has grown so has the idiot factor. This year in the evening a storm came through and people were just setting boats adrift to get away, without anyone on them. Even when we left earlier there was already some shouting and crap going on. Certainly my last visit there.

Probably not long now before they shut down the sand bar inside John's Pass. I'm selective about where I go when my kids are here. Sucks too because you you still run across idiots and I feel like I need to "politely" point out that my kids are around. That's pretty much a role of the dice not knowing how they will react.
