Question

If money was no object and you were buying a Baja, what model with what power and drives would you buy???

40OL with light cabin options and 700 w/nxt's... if money really no option with open check book check for maint. Then 1075's w/6's:driving:

My next one will be a 40 , hp 500 to 700. Theres one on
the net for 119,ooo clean boat.low hrs. Baja is the best
bang for the buck, I had six !

35 Outlaw - Pokerface "look a like" with the new Merc 1300's and #8 Drives. That should beat any other Baja out there?

Oh, and a 405 with twin 4.3 MPI V-6's Alpha drives, for TEAMBAJA! He has too many hours of getting beat-up, with all that endurance testing at Baja.

XT :driving:

I would go have a talk with reggie and have him custom make a 40 outlaw with quad steps and staggard 1075's with #6 drives. This is also the first thing I would do if I won the powerball.

A 40 o/l something along the lines of this.....less the beak
with the new 1300 turbo motors

You may get it sooner then you think,
rumor has it a step 40 is in the making.

Anymore details on that?? Never seen that. :cheers2:

That picture was from a year ago.

It's a 40 o/l top mounted on a 42 fountain hull.

The reason there is a large gap between the hull and deck is
to maintain the 40 o/l's freeboard.

The beak area is supposed to be filled in also.

Yep. Broken in pieces with a big towmotor. That mold would have needed a lot of work to make it right. It was the original as designed before it was tested. As I understand it, there were many changes after testing to get to the level that the spiderman hull was at.
