just back from circle Krack, as I am walking out the front door there is a smoking hot girl on a scooter waiting for a friend, our eyes meet ,she checks me out,I got the visor on with blond hair spilling out, nice tan decent shape and she is hooked, she starts to smile and say something, then she notices the 18 pack of busch light in my hand,her face fell and I knew it was over.......

I liked Seinfeld, but that Yada thing makes me freaking come unglued...
My Mother says it at least once every time I speak to her on the phone.
My sister used it all the time too, but I haven't spoke to her in at least 6 years.

No bad blood. We just never even conversed growing up. She's 3-1/2 yrs younger, but we're very different from each other.
Her and I both had a falling out with the parents for a few yrs, which I've patched up, but my sis has refused to.
I tried to contact her a few yrs ago, and she never replied.
It's not really a huge deal for me.
My Mother always described her and I growing up as "two ships passing in the night", which I would say is pretty accurate.
Funny, she has a friendship with my ex-wife that she still keeps up with.
And my Ex-wife absolutely would have me shot if she could get away with it.

Tim, I have that sister. We didn't really speak for years.
But now that my Mom is in steep decline from dementia, I have financial power of attorney, and my sister has medical. Didn't see THAT one comin.

That's kinda scary.
My Dad just retired a few weeks ago, and last weekend when I spoke to my folks (Yes, I've learned to be a good Pollock son and call them every Sunday:kiss
.Anyway, they shared that I was the sole heir, and it is going to be my responsibility.
Awkward conversation to say the least.
I want to ask them about what they want as "final wishes" (i.e. burial place, church for a funeral, any donations, and whatever else they want done with the estate - not that there is a huge amount there (to my knowledge at least)).
How do you bring something like that up?
My folks are both ~65/66. So it's not like it's gonna be tomorrow, but, these are things I should probably know.
It's awesome you had your Dad out working on the Apache with you a few weeks ago. I know you're going through alot with your Mom.
My prayers that she is well and comfortable.
My sister... well, I extended the olive branch more than once, so did my folks, so ball's in her court.

But, I am down about 6-7 beers...
Otherwise, I probably wouldn't have even mentioned it.
So, I think it still qualifies as "Bar Talk"
