Prayers and good thoughts needed

Fellow SOS'ers:

My mom is scheduled for open heart surgery on Tuesday morning. She is having a double bypass and an aortic valve replacement. Although common surgery these days, her other medical complications make these procedures very high risk. Without the surgery, the physicians give her "an extremely short calendar" in their words. So, despite the risks, the surgery makes sense.

I would certainly appreciate all the divine intervention possible.

Thank you for your prayers and well wishes.

Mom did not make it to the surgery. She passed away early on Monday morning. Like most mothers, she will be missed.

Tom, I'm so sorry to hear of your Mothers passing. I just knew I was going to read updates to this thread that she was going to be alright, I'm saddened that is not the case.
