I believe the hull bottoms, on at least one of the molds, was completely redesigned.

Artie may know for sure....

Paul , i really do not know how much work was done to the 38 mold other then addressing a few issues .........that were a concern along with getting the mold ready to pull a part but ......i do know from my last vist to PowerQuest when Jamie was still there they were in the process of prepairing the 38 mold by wideing the lip around the perimeter so they could start doing Infusion along with making a few changes to the deck . Paul , personally it is really hard to tell from the pics if that is the same boat but ................... most likely is , and with that in mind Phil's plans were to convert the boat from Trips to Twins with big power adding a new transom , ect ect . Paul , the real man to answer any ..... or all .......questions is J.Doss considering he was part of that operation for the longest time .

I know lots of usless information.
hows it going artie?

one 38 is the new one, the other is the one from 05. Phil did new mso on it

Rumors were that Phil was doing a step change/addition to one of the molds. Any truth to that?

Jamie , everything is going very well ,and to tell you the truth. i have been thinking about calling you these last few weeks and yes that 47 was Octavian . Paul , the reason i have not responded to one of your posts is because i will attend the inspection both days at different time's considering i am really not sure of the times ........which most likely will be late in the afternoon ................both days. Artie,

been busy, phone has been ringing off the hook for the auction. Was down there yesterday for a few hrs looking around the molds with someone. still wondering what you are going to get if you buy any of the boats. phil changed vins on the aerotek (not a challenger) and screwed ron over ,who has the title (its and 89) check the fuel tank. State police are involved. the one 38 was owned by poshard along with motors 525 and drives, had a loan on...... .Also, who is the person telling the all of the wrong info? 39 sutphen not 35 (parnells old one) they say no vin, Title would have that (so they don't have it)and there is the one in the boat like all boats. they never built a 35. .....

As far as the boats phil did no changes to the hulls ,in fact he did nothing. he never finished building a new boat PEROID, remember he lost CPM and the aero-tek molds before PQ .everything we sold was left over from the previous group. the o8 38 was on the floor when he bought it in 06. just changed vin. He is nothing but a lying P.O.S. only changes were the lamination (infusion) and a lot of small parts ,cabin liners, and the vents on the 38. Easy to go out of business when you don't build, or complete anything to sell. He did know how to run the floor sweeper good though and talk.
c you down there

Thanks,

I have one guy who has contacted me about the 18' mold. He believes it is a viable design in todays market. Basically a 20' with a swim platform added and a great, and proven, bottom design.

What do you guys think?

Just a quick mention to all of those interested ..........when i was employed at P-Q , in the mold dept way before this ....................the smaller molds that are avaliable have had little or no use from the 260 open bow to the #237 Stryker SX, to the # 22 Raizor .

Jamie , i have been waiting for you to toot your horn , and why did you take so long ...Ha Ha Ha ......you Dawg ................and not to metion other comments from other builders .........without mentioning any names who pretty much wondered why he never really produced any Boats during that time frame .

The smallest mold available is the 22 . Proven? they sold them but the also sold 23's, 206's, 222; 237's, 24's.
Jacks group made many changes to molds. the 26 sx now has a walk through???? why not on the sls.
in 04-05 pq sold 200+ boats. the molds that are outside now have been since then, not covered in anyway. the razor has repairs, deck cooked/stuck during inf process . Some decks/tools/cribing need alot of attention now. I do not know what all of the molds outside the fence are or their condition. I hope that the right person gets the molds, and makes a run at it, it is past managements that broke the company not the product.

Jamie , why do you keep mentioning.......jacks changes ........considering the open bow concept / walk thru ..was made many years prior to Jack ...........considering i preped the mold ....... but then again just maybe ..........we are not on the same page . Artie

Paul , Power Play / Power Quest , wow ..............bottom line is ......if that Mold was still available (18) it would only be good for a few parts or a splash for a new mold considering it must be beat after all these years ...................

Artie,
jack took the 26sx , not the open bow/bow rider 26sls ,and made a walk through between the engine and side of the boat. the full rear bench seat no longer exists. it is like the 28 and 32 sc models you can walk from the cockpit to the swim platform. this concept makes full sence on the 26sls.

I, stand corrected . Jame i apologize and to tell you the truth i totally forgot about the 260 SX if it....... were not for your pics in your last post considering ....... the 260 SLS is the model that always comes to mind , and just curious when was the last time you seen or saw Matt L ?
