I've been getting it. It's a little thinner (I'm sure that advertising is down) but still has good content.
Yeah, I've had brochures thicker than the last few! :26: I've been getting them though.
Extreme Boats got spotty, and now they don't come at all.
I also subscribed for 2 years with H2O last Fall, and never received a single one. No response to emails either, and blew off calling since they are somewhere in Europe I think? I figured they're done since the guy who started it never posts anymore. Another
I still get Poker Run's America on time, and Performance Boat's Mag has been great so far! :boobflash:

I hadn't seen the March issue of Powerboat on the newsstands for a while - even by mid-March, it wasn't there. Usually, it would have been there before the end of Feb.

IMHO it is the best one of the bunch! I haven't tried Performance Boat Mag but they have a nice website and some top industry names on board. I've been meaning to order it..

I received powerboat as a Christmas present and waiting a long time to get one issue but finally came. I figured it took a while to process a new customer and thought nothing of it. Now it is almost the end of March and I still have only got one magazine. I like what they have in the issue but I sure would like to get it ever month like I paid for. My Maxim is on time ever month...

Honestly I don't know. Their website has new issues on it in a timely mannor.
I want to say/guess that some of the talent from Hot Boat is now at Perfromance Boats Mag but not the owners/people that ran HB in to the ground.

Yeah - there was a really bad falling out between the brothers. One took over Hot Boat then the other went out and started Performance Boat. Lot of editorial bitterness and back-and-forth at first...got tired of the soap opera, myself. My feeling was that most of the old Hot Boat crowd went with the new magazine, but who knows for sure...

Larry Flynt owned Hot Boat magazine and Chris Davidson was the chief editor. His younger brother Darren was national sales manager. When Larry was selling off Hot Boat, Chris wanted to buy it, but his brother Darren out bid him, without Chris even knowing he was bidding against anyone, let alone his own brother.
I think Chris has done a hell of a job with his magazine, Performance Boats.
