his name is Gary(?) c..... and used to race the powerplay racing boat that became Ettore and was involved in a traffic accident and wrecked. He was tight with Dan in the day and was out out texas. They used to do real well at the races.

That was the boat back in the day 19993-1995, In 1992 APBA had banned staggered engines boats for B class. Danny W and Reggie leaned on the powers that be and prevailed. This is not a slam on the officials of that time the sad reality was know one had their back. In the end Powerplay and Fountain had some serious brawls with the Scarab occasionally winning also. Dragonlady was made and B class was over as we knew it.
This sequence of events was the catalyst that started Factory Class racing.
