Phragle's official winter upgrade thread..

Nope. Still trying to get my steering wheel bolted on. Rest of the boat is done. Changing oil and cleaning weds. Thursday get the trailer registered and dunk it. It will be in the water for the local fireworks the 21st (they shoot them off a bridge over the river)
 
Are you positive it's a 5/8-20 and not a 5/8-18? That is such an odd size. Is it a steering wheel thing for boats? If so, steal Funds!!!!:sifone:
 
It LIVES !!!! Fired right up, ran it for about a half hour on the hose, shifts easy. Only issue I have is the oil pressure gauge, It pegged. probably have the send and ground backwards on the gauge. My guess on the alternator/charging system was right. its charging fine now.
 
Steering wheels on, trailers registered.. time to dunk it!! Wait,,,, big black clouds, thunder and lighting, denied boat ride.....
 
Cleaned up the transom today... lots of overspray etc from previous owner rattle canning the drive. Used the 1000 grit magic eraser....
 
Made it out, ran good but discoverd a fuel leak somewhere in the injection. Brian41 is gonna take a look at it this weekend, thinks its an O ring. Wish I knew a little more about fuel injection, Im just afraid Im gonna screw something up if I tear into it.
 
Yep, if you can't tell exactly where it's at, let a pro do it. It sucks when you're not positive......
 
Motorhome is loaded, boat is set, just have to tie down the travel cover, it likes to inflate like a parachute going down the road. Headed for boyne at dawns early light.
 
Even if you werent planning on it and dont have a room, there is room in the motorhome, get your butt in gear my friend...
