We arrived up at Tracy and Connie's on Friday evening, had a great time at their place meeting new people, chatting with old friends, and discussing boating, weather, people, and marraige. On saturday, they wanted to take out the boats and run up to Bay Harbor for lunch, and Pete and Kelly were kind enough to invite us along to ride with them.

I got a few shots, here are some of them. Pete wouldn't miss the bumps, so there are some that are fuzzy.

At the dock before leaving.

Goin North to lunch. Ryan and Kim had to take it easy because he was elected, (actually volunteered, but don't let him know I said that. Don't want everyone thinking he may be a nice guy!) to take those who were tentative about running fast.

Mike and Wendy. They were the ones who volunteered to take those who wanted to go the fastest!

The main reason we're all there. Congrats again bud, you got lucky. At this point I was reminding her she only had about 6 hours left to wise up!!!!!

After lunch, headin south. It had gotten a bit choppier, but no big deal. Really good water for running fast. Pete was smiling in the Outerlimits. Mike let it out a bit I heard!!!

What kind of boat is Iceman? Doesn't look familiar to me.

Very nice looking boat! Any details on it?

Yep, it is. They put new 1350's in it this year. I don't know the top speed, but I'm sure it's up there. Ther eis a 2000 Airborne currently for sale in Houston for $395,000 if you're looking. It has 1085's and runs a reported 95mph. I don't remember who it was said they were being followed by Iceman and it looked as if he could drive right over them ....

2000 Airborne 53 Catamaran new used boats for sale dealers reviews boat classifieds

53' Airborne with speed of a performance boat with handing and amenities of a cruiser. Arenson surface drives coupled to the 1085 722 Merlin engines by victory are mildly tuned for ease of handling and reliability (can be increased to approx 1500hp). Boat looks new and offers luxury amenities. Super stable in offshore waters and suprprisingly easy to handle around the dock. Excellent cruise speed extends day trip destination points. Large Deck offers plenty of room for guests. This boat commands attention on the water and is the ultimate in safe operational excitement and entertaining. Boat sold new in excess of 1 million and is still in new condition.

Ryan went in Iceman for the first time, said he could stand in the cabin and he's around 6'2" I'd guess. It is definitely a big boat.

Anyway, they are 53' long, 12' wide, have two staterooms, (one king, one queen), an enclosed complete head, and weigh about 18,000 lbs.....

Stayed there until about 5:15 or so, had to go get ready for the wedding at 7:00. But, right before our scheduled leave time, a storm started to brew. Petey said it would miss us south, he was wrong! So everyone left at about the same time, made for some interesting water.

Headin out...

I'll figure this stuff out yet, but dang I ended up with a lot of blurry stuff on that portion of the run. Plus, they were all dark because I had too fast of shutter I guess for the dark conditions from the storm coming in. (But it wasn't fast enough to overcome the blur from camera movement.

I'll play with the pics some more to see if there is anything I can do to help them. ...

I'd especially like to get this one right. Running perfect....

Here's the dark one
