Comming from the west coast, and swimmming in salt water usually with a wet suit, the first time I jumped over the side to go swimming in lake erie, I went straight for the bottom, scared the crap out of me, you have no where near the bouyency in fresh water, my friends laugh at me, but now if Im jumping in and it's over my head, I have it on.
