There was trash covering the street when I got here this morning. So much for my earlier statement about what a clean city that DC is. It's going to take a week or so to clean all of this chit up!!

The best quote of the whole thing came from an 82 year old black man interviewed by local tv here "the children, now they see there is no height they can't aspire too, there is no elevation without education"
Anybody want to take a stab at what the percentageof attendees actually had high school diplomas?? it's not about handouts or better schools, I was the class of 82. 26 years ago and the only socio-economic barrier to education then and now was the students motivation.

they aren't "trashmen" they are environmental engineers.... being paid overtime with our tax dollars. And it's the mentallity, you come to see "history" being made and to be part of something profound and meaningfull, a black man being sworn in as president, so to celebrate you trash the nations capital. Same mentallity that when faced with urban blight and crime, you have a riot and burn down your own neighborhood instead of cleaning, painting and forming neighborhood watch. Definitly the path of advancement.

today, i had a small victory against obama supporters. i didnt let a lady get over in front of me because she had an obama sticker on her car.

everything that i've seen about his "supporters" basically is that they're trash.
but in all SERIOUSness, i hope he is a good president and can get america on a better path.

Actually, that couldn't be farther from the truth. It's a beautiful city and It'll be cleaned up in short time. It's was certainly a mess this morning!
