What do you call the Adrenaline 30?
And McManus will build a 30ft Rebel.
And there is Pantera, who may not be as high tech, but custom and bad@ass nonetheless.

I'm thinking this boat isn't being aimed at competition like Fountain or Sunsation. This is the boat for a guy that owns a Ferrari and a lake house. And a boat he can take his wife to dinner on and not need help docking it. Or a tender on a larger boat. And for that, $150K is pocket change compared to some of the exotics I've seen. And of all people scoffing at this, I'm surprised at Tank's reaction. What does Phil get for a full-blown 20? Any idea of the pricetag on the Firefox he just redid? The OL doesn't look bad in comparison.

Not everyone needs to have every inch of hull that they can possibly afford. And a single engine boat in this size is perfect for a nice sized lake or on a river. Or the ICW. And you're not going to tie up next to six other boats that look just like it.

The boat has been designed to run over 90 with a single 525.

That is what I wanted to hear and great news!! I can see this being a great boat, but I agree with some that it will have to be priced right. If this boat can be purchased for less than $200k that is good IMO. Heck new 30' center consoles are close to $150k+ today. I really look forward to the 36' as well. The question of being able to buy a used bigger/faster boat for less money will always be the case no matter what is being looked at new. My only wish would be that the 28' had more deck less bustle, but it might just be because I am looking at a sketch and not a photo.

I'm intrigued as hell. I really don't want a boat bigger than 28' - 30'. Between storage shed size, slip size, lift capacity, size of the lake I boat on, tow rating of my truck, etc. this size really appeals to me. If they hit the $150K target, that is not much more than the list of an 288 SSR Sunny with a 525. Good stuff.

What more do you want me to tell you, the unique aspects of the boat are the carbon grid, the hull design, the laminate schedule, the list goes on. The price has not been established in full but it will be under 200K.

The boat is conceptual at this point and is subject to change.

I think it is great that this has generated some interest, and we look forward to feedback to build a boat that will suit as many different needs at a reasonable price, but it is impossible to post numbers and speculate as to final price when the customer has not complely finished providing the list of options that they would prefer.

I will be sure to keep updating everybody as we get closer to the final specs.

As the owner of multiple Apaches over the years, I can tell you that there's a great difference between what these manufacturers build. Not that the present manufacturer of Apaches build anything anyway. But if the Rebel 30 ever does eventually exist, it'll be an old-school hotrod. I'd have to suspect that this boat will be a reflection of the current OL lineup.

What makes you think they must have figured it out?
What makes owning an OL make sense?
It's about having the best and paying for it.
Damn... a 29formula w/ twin sbc's stickers for 190.

The way they have figured it out is they know their clientelle, who must want a smaller boat. $ don't matter. If it did, they really wouldn't be at OL.

Note: And i'm not saying that to the super rich, $ doesn't matter, they just got plenty of it to spend on what they want.

I would think that they have an idea of who they are going to sell to. Now that we know the boat is not going to be epoxy, a single motor and around $150k, its starting to add up.

Yea, good point. 100k for a fully custom 20' boat. you'll have to spend 150k more and you can have 8 more feet of OL? WTF??!!

My initial reaction was at the 250k price tag of course. At 150k it's actully a good deal since I think 30 Baja Outlaws were selling for low 100's. 150 for that boat and they'll sell like hot cakes.
